RK Trust adds Orthopedic Medical Assistance to its 16th Annual Eye Camp at Kalandri, Sirohi District
RK Trust expands its outreach program by adding Orthopedic Medical assistance to its 16th Annual Eye Camp at Kalandri, Sirohi District, conducted in partnership with Global Hospital & Research Centre, Mount Abu. The camp was held on 29th December in the memory of RK Trust founder Ramesh Kumar Shah's father, Premchand Manaji.
With the 16th Annual Eye Camp, RK Trust would have brought sight to over 1200 individuals with free cataract operations over the course a decade. In a first of its kind offering, patients were able to get medical help for their orthopedic ailments. Surgeries were offered free with medical insurance or at a highly subsidized cost in the absence of insurance. 700 patients registered, 600 patients received medicines, 250 were given spectacles and 30 went in for cataract operation.
RK Trust through its Kalandri Foundation which is working at the grassroots level at Kalandri in Sirohi District, donated 150 chairs to the Shree Mahaveer Govt. Girls Senior Secondary School on 28th May 2023 – Dainik Bhaskar, 29-5-2023

RK Trust facilitated the donation of Pet Foods worth over 1.5 lakhs to Charlie Animal Rescue Center.CARE is an animal shelter established in January 2013. They aim to provide timely medical aid to injured and ill animals from the streets of Bangalore.
